Paul Flato Rhinestone Compact Rare Vintage Gold Plated Powder Makeup CompactThis is a beautiful and sparkling rhinestone powder and mirror compact by Paul Flato. It's in great used condition and comes with the original case, but with no lipstick case. The mirror is in wonderful usable condition, with ever so slight haze, but still casts a clear image. All hinges and closures work perfectly. All the rhinestones are bright and sparkle beautifully. The gold plating is in excellent condition. A unique piece that measures

The case measures approximately 4 1/4 inches in length by 3 inches in width

engraved on the cartouche

and has a blank cartouche on each side to have your initials engraved

and some wear to the lipstick case

This piece is an outstanding example of enamel guilloche

It also has a lovely repousse design that surrounds the outside edges

This is truly a lovely and unique piece that would enhance any vintage compact collection

Unfortunately it does have some enamel loss to the edges of the top of the piece
