1900s Gold Tone Terri Compact Purse Diamond Marcasite AdornmentThis is a gorgeous gold tone compact wristlet purse from the early 1900's. It has a lovely engine turned design with a diamond shaped sparkling marcasite adornment on the front of the purse. It is an absolutely stunning piece, with no hallmarks on the compact, but the Terri stamp is in the rouge. It opens by gently pressing on the center near the edge of the lid, which is spring loaded, and opens the purse. It measures approximately 3 1 2 inches in

The mesh is perfectly shiny and beautiful

The mirror is clear

It only has one light spot on the top section edge

and is in good vintage condition

It also has a rouge plate below the mirror with some remaining rouge

we have emptied the loose powder from the case to prevent damage

and has a new flint installed

The hinge and closure work as it should
