It's in wonderful condition, with only slight spots of wear to the enameling and silver tone metal alloy. No dents, dings, rust or corrosion. It pops open with the push of a button on the front edge, with a double sided mirror that pops open to reveal a spot for the rouge behind it. It also has a solid powder compartment with a trace amount of powder
