The table was a showroom model from my understanding and appears new

This design was introduced in 1962 as the lounge chair you see here and was soon transformed into a sofa after 1966 (we have the matching sofa available as well)

indicating that the black finish was applied in the factory prior to the labels being applied

these chairs are in excellent vintage condition with some signs of age apparent

producing an eye-catching design

There are some scuffs to the wood finish and rubs at the edges

we will be enjoying the single-seat lounge chair in our gallery space until further notice

The piece is marked on the back with Johnson Furniture Company labelling

These examples were produced by Fritz Hansen in Denmark in 2005

with an upholstered black leather seat on a triangular chromed-steel frame

as the covers become worn and are thrown away

It does have seem to have a professionally repair on the edge as noted in the photos
