Whiting Davis Mesh Compact Purse 1930s Gold Mesh Mirror HandbagThis is a very lovely little 1930's gold tone mesh mirror compact purse by Whiting & Davis. It's in wonderful condition. The only issue we found is some light age related discoloration to the satin lining; no stains. The mesh and lid are in shiny condition, and the glass mirror is wonderfully clear. The compact is a larger size measuring approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter

In good condition with mild scratches and age patina

This is a pretty 1950's Volupte Lip Lock gold compact purse with cigarette and lipstick case that comes complete with the black moiré holder and the original box

The depth of the holder is approximately 3 1/4 inches

and a nice addition to your vintage vanity collection

This piece dates around the 1930's and is an wonderful piece to add to any vintage compact collection

It measures 2 3/4 inches in diameter

The silver and gold filled wristlet bar and chain is nicely detailed

The only damage to note is some minor scuffing to the back of the piece

The piece also has a blank cartouche for engraving your initials

It's also missing 4 very tiny rhinestones
