A card pin holder. 1851 Exhibition Souvenir.A card disc pin stuck and embossed with an image of the Crystal Palace in the centre and the following text 'Exhibition for all Nations 1851.' and on the outer ring 'Peyton & Iles London and Birm. Ilse's Patent.' The back of it is a plain green. 6. 5cm in diameter. In very good condition. Stock no. LQ39

There is no stopper and the lid has a crease and a dent but there is no other damage

It has a seal end cap engraved with the initials PA

A well detailed chip carved snuff box with slide lid

Cotton barrels are the earliest form of thread container in sewing boxes pre-dating reels

Condition- The horn is in good condition

The frame of the lens is an oblong with rounded corners

English Size 10 which is for a small finger

Inside it is lined in purple velvet and with loops of purple silk containing the fittings

This would have been part of a matching set in an ivory case
