Description
Louis Latour, Puligny Montrachet Sous PuitsAn attractively floral suffused nose displays notes of white peach, spice and a hint of Asian style tea. The succulent and more refined middle weight flavors dont possess the same density or power on the moderately dry finale. This could use better depth though its certainly pretty.
Ripe cherry
Shows a slightly roasted quality but also terrific energy and lift to the rather brooding aromas of dark berries
The 1998 Monbousquet is medium to deep garnet-brick in color with wonderful dried mulberries
Pliant and open-knit
showing mellow tannins and a distinct pungency because of its rather fierce acidity
Sweet on entry
explosive wine that is sure to deliver considerable intrigue and pleasure over the next 10-15 years or so
accompanied by brilliant acidity
The tannins are dry and polished
150 cases imported
offering powerful citrus
apple and citrus aromas and once again tangerine that are also trimmed in a discreet application of wood
