Description
FELTON ROAD "BLOCK 5" Pinot Noir 2022 Magnum (1500ml)Tasting Note: The vivacious character of the 2022 vintage leads the intense nose of dark florals, black cherry and an array of classic Central Otago spice and dried herbs. The flavours are again classic with plentiful diversity and complexity. Its incredibly seamless and finely poised already, but the tannins are there, svelte and integrated, waiting patiently in the background for the long haul. A chic and sophisticated Block 5. Review: 97 points,
It is light on the back palate
Captivating
berry and currant flavors mingle with licorice
Clear and fine
‘Light straw gold colour
This typically ages very well and should age in 2018
The hand harvest is followed by the cold soft press of the grape
The Real Review: Bob Campbell 2023
Medium complexity
Lovely mouthfeel with a core of dark red berry fruit flavours encased by firm tannins and acid line
Bright purple-red colour
It displays delicacy but richness and the beautifully linear acidity makes it a fantastic match with food
