This stunning bar brooch dates back to the Victorian era, it features round and pear shaped faceted garnet gemstones, in the centre of the brooch there is a small flower design which is slightly raised. The stones are set in the lower carat garnet gold that many of these garnet pieces were made in the Victorian era. This stone was a popular stone for Victorian
