Vintage Sterling Aksel Holmsen Enamel Viking Ship Brooch | AKSEL HOLMSEN STERLING | Norway Enamel BroochThis brooch features a blue, white and silver enameled Viking ship set on rolling wire waves. The brooch was made by Aksel Holmsen a Norwegian silversmith who opened a small workshop in Sandefjord, Norway in 1904. The company is well known for it's modernist esthetic and use of gold plated silver with enameled guilloche and basse taille designs.
