Payne 7' Spinning Rod

Payne 7' Spinning RodFor sale here is a beautiful Payne 7' 2 1 bamboo spinning rod. Intended for use with lures roughly 1 4 3 8 oz. The rod is in excellent original condition. Strangely, the varnish appears to have been removed down from the tip top 1" and could use a touch up. Both sections are full length with sets in both. Chestnut wraps with gold tipping over handsomely tempered cane. The guides all feature classic agate inserts save the ceramic tip top. They have all

There is a bit of light rust and corrosion on a few of the guides

with the one exception being bluing loss to the reel seat hardware likely caused by rubbing against the heavy canvas rod bag
