Neat size and great overall condition with light fading to the top but only very slight. The sides have a beautiful level of detail and design that makes this a great addition to a room as its presence is wonderful. A wonderful shield back armchair with carved frame and a waisted footstool with carved details as well

The painting is a good size as well and the condition overall is very good

It is French in origin and is totally original as far as I can see

Gorgeous deep red colour to the timber and the design is striking

There is also a very neat inscription on the main body but I am not able to make out what it says
