Darryl Whitehead 7' 2/2 #3A 7' Darryl Whitehead 2 piece, 2 tip rod, serial #79. Darryl really pulled out all the stops on this one. The action is a medium fast #3, a clone of the Thomas Fairy taper. Perfect varnish. Full engraving treatment, agate stripper and leather rod tube. First the grip, western style with 1 4" high quality corks. The reel seat is a cap and ring slide band with a gunstock quality mortised Circassian walnut insert. Both the cap and ring are fully engraved
