Prosthechea X chixoyensWell established blooming size seedlings in 3. 25" pots. This is a newly documented natural hybrid (P. cochleata x radiata) first discovered in Guatemala. The plants tend to be more compact (more like radiata) with flowers that are similar to P. cochleata but are smaller with flatter, wider sepals. It really does look like a miniature version of P. cochleata! Care: Intermediate warm temperatures, bright indirect sunlight and regular year round

Prefers intermediate-warm temps with slightly cooler winter temps

Flower spikes are 10"-12" and produce many small yellow flowers that are concentrated on the upper 1/3 of the spike

The flowers are large (for the size of the plant) and look like a giant Epidendrum porpax flowers
