The Spirit Bear (yellow and orange wood print)A bear so full of rage he starts a meta physical storm with fire and lightning like storm clouds over an active volcano. As an artist Ive always gotten a sort of therapy and contemplation while working on my art. The loose nature and absence of patterns made this piece no exception. It might appear I was trying to release some aggression but it actually was a very relaxing and therapeutic experience. All wood prints are printed on birch finishing

To me a charging rhinoceros is one of the coolest things in nature unless you’re on the receiving end of their horn

I’ve always liked drawing skulls and skeletons but most of the time I’ve drawn them in art classes as studies or practice for other drawings

It was for a team project thing and they were called the Argonauts

I researched Seminole Indian patterns and found out that their patterns often depicted animals

The moment that it’s too late

and alien at the same time

The elephants skin was inspired a a type of sea coral and I added the fire to add a sense of luck that is smoldering under the surface almost unattainable
