The rod is in excellent original condition with a few exceptions. A light coat of touch up varnish was placed on some of the ferrules and guides. One of the tips is short by 1 2", this tip has also lost its tip wraps though the tip top remains secure. Lastly, there is some light wear to the varnish in the form of scratches and small chips. The action is medium-fast best suited for a DT6 line in my opinion

The drag is strong and smooth

with the rod serial #12 inked on it

Fully assembled the rod measures 8 feet 7 3/4 inches with the butt section being 1 3/8" shorter than the tip section
