Lot 017 - Antique Oil On Canvas Painting Of Pink Roses In Brass Handled Vase In Original Pressed Gesso Frame, Circa 1875, 14-1/4" x 16-1/2"Pre Auction Notes: Painting has minor losses and holes, including a taped hole, lower right side. Frame has losses to pressed gesso, especially on upper and lower right sides. Original condition.
The cups have a lovely deep red translucent color
Severe paint curling and chipping
Pterygoid Muscles and Structures about the Inferior Maxilla
Some may like that shabby look
some spots of discoloration on the paint
Pre-Auction Notes: Minor losses and marks to paint
Note that the cover is pulling back from the spine binding
The dish is in good condition with minor signs of wear such as mild scratching and minor chipping
