RESERVED Early 20th century Portuguese root and slate side tableThis is a hugely decorative rustic side table made from root base and black slate top. Very striking and certainly a great talking point in any room. These tables are often made by farmers and shepherds for use in the fields. The base is very sculptural and the slate top is level making it ideal for use for a lamp or glasses of drinks. Height 76cm Diameter approx 64cm

This is a beautifully designed 19th century wingback armchair

These are made from forged steel and have a great patina on them already from the hand beaten way they are produced

It has at some point in its life had this replaced with a flat plate mirror which takes nothing away from the look of the piece and does make it more practical

The scale of the piece is  very impressive and it gives a lovely light when lit

The drawers all open and close smoothly as well as flush
