18th Century Painted Swedish bowl - No 2This is a lovely piece of Swedish folk art. 18th Century turned bowl. Gorgeous green original paint with contrast red rim. Totally honest and highly decorative. Height 9cm Diameter 26cm

Under the skirt this has tall tapered legs which are good enough to show if you don't want skirted upholstery

They are made from pine with an almost limed appearance which makes them hugely decorative

This is a beautifully made piece of recent date

The frame is original and works with the painting well also

They have been sun bleached and have an almost petrified wood appearance as they are extremely hard

This can be upholstered buttoned or plain

The stone has a few small old nibbles but nothing that takes away from the piece

Also a large size so very decorative

The condition is very good for a piece made entirely of real bamboo
