Has an ultra weight-forward #9 floating line on it with backing
Used condition with cosmetic marks from fishing as Stanley would have wanted
and this is his "Ruby River" model
This Hardy Bougle MKIV 3 1/4" trout reel is made in England and accompanied by an extra spool

before serial numbering began
Straw colored cane finish with transparent honey wraps and burgundy tipping at the winding check
Dual aluminum sliding band reel seat over a cork spacer
Overall a very nice reel that needs to get back on the water
The reel appears in little-used condition but the reel and spool need to be cleaned due to the disintegrated foam backing adhering to the aluminum surfaces
The crack does not hinder usage of the rod in any way
and made in 1951
