The rod has richly flamed cane, a varnish finish, gold silk wraps and decorative spiral wraps in front of the grip and at the female ferrule, oxidized nickel silver ring and black die stamped pocketed butt cap, over an all cork reel seat, size 13 64 nickel silver ferrules with a great ferrule fit. The varnish shows a little age but in no way does it require
For sale here is an impregnated Phillipson Peerless "5" -- 7 1/2' 5wt bamboo rod with a marked weight of 3 3/4 oz
and brass tool for disassembling the reel
