19th century Carved Padauk Anglo-Indian side table - smallerThis is a very nice quality, totally original 19th century Padauk Anglo Indian side table. The finely carved top is exceptional quality with the striking Padauk grain centre detail. The base us also very nicely carved and overall is in wonderful condition with no losses or significant damage often found with this style of furniture. Heavy for its size. Height 48cm Diameter 45cm

The frame is recently made and has a great created patina that suits the style of the herbariums perfectly

It has one large drawer to one end and a small drawer to the side with a neat brass pull

Very practical with a lift up top giving plenty of storage and an ideal height for a seat as well

There are two drawers that run smoothly and close flush
