Antique French Pen or Pencil Storage Box with Illustrated Children Skating on the Top Paper MacheThis is a lovely original antique French pencil or pen storage box. It has an original illustration on the top of children roller skating. It has a push button opening and measures 8 1 2 inches or 22 cm in length and 2 1 4 inches or 6 cm in width. The top illustration has wear as photographed.
It is hand titled Alexander Adam LLD and initialed by the artist on the bottom right side
I am not sure what wood it is made of but it is gorgeous
It is lined inside with a very soft yellow cloth fabric and it has an inside pocket
It has its original owners name
It would look great hanging in a kitchen
they are in very good condition for their age
The wood has a beautiful grain
One has a boy figure on the front and the other has a girl figure on the front
It measures 10 3/4 inches in length
The handles are a coral pink bakelite and the blades are silver plated
This is a lovely original vintage Scottish tartanware needle case
they are in very good condition considering they are well over 100 years old
