Gary Howells Bamboo Rod 7'6" 2/2 #6/7For sale here is a Gary Howells bamboo rod in excellent condition 7'6 feet for a 6 or 7 weight in a 2 2 format, labeled 3 5 8 oz. You don't see this combination of a shorter rod and heavier line weighting on the resale market very often. Serial number 3911, crafted in the early 1970s. Carbide stripper guide, wrapped in brown thread with gold trim. Reverse half wells, down sliding aluminum ring and aluminum pocketed butt cap with cork insert reel seat.

The rod originally found its way into Sparse's hands from a member of the Long Island Wyandanch Club who gave the rod to Otto Von Kienbusch

Very good condition only very lightly used
