Dating back to 1880 when Edouard Amouroux was bequeathed a parcel of vines within a Clos and named after the oratory situated just below the vineyard. The label design represents all the history and was registered along with the trademark in 1926. Vinification is carried out naturally in stainless steel vats and oak barrels for a period of 12 months before blending in stainless steel vats to prepare for bottling
