2023 Cantalici Toscana Petali Rosè IGTCarlo crafted this easy drinking ros from 100% Sangiovese fruit harvested from vines 1000 feet above sea level. After a cold maceration in contact with the skins for only a few hours, the skins and must are removed and fermentation completed at very low temperatures. This dry, Tuscan ros displays a beautiful coral pink hue in the glass. The wine delivers lively fruit aromas to the nose, delicious hints of raspberries and strawberries on the palate,

The choicest grapes are gently placed in wooden racks and allowed to rest for 3 to 4 months

the wine was moved to third or fourth passage Allier oak barriques where it rested for around 12 months during which it received repeated batonnage

with soft and round tannins

The wine was aged 12 months in stainless steel and an additional 24 months in 25 hectoliter French Oak botti

The 2023 vintage shows straw yellow in the glass with bright aromas  of fresh peach and pineapple
