1988 Kramer Japan JK-7000 Bass (Black)As seen in the 1988 Kramer catalog, the JK 7000 was made by ESP in Japan. Features an alder body with a maple neck and a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard (34" scale length, 43mm nut width), weighs just under 4. 1kg's. Loaded with a PBX pickup in the neck position and a double JBX pickup in the bridge position controlled by a mini 3 way selector toggle, independent volume controls and a master tone control along with a coil split toggle for the JBX.

These are becoming more and more desirable for their clear analog octave tracking and thick throaty bass

still  has the plastic on the pickups

Antique Brown lacquer finish on the neck has worn down to a beautiful satin feel that plays soft and smooth

5-way pickup selector with two tone knobs and a master volume control

Has a few small headstock cracks reglued along with a separation of the top glued and clamped so it's good to go

it weighs a reasonable 4

a status LED and runs on a 9V battery or 9V power supply (not included)
