1984 Greco Japan GTX-55 "Tusk" Explorer (Black)I genuinely mean this (as the owner of a guitar shop and collector of oddball Japanese guitars), the Greco Tusk models are my favourite series of guitars from the 1980's. Designed around Greco's "Sky Diver" tremolo system, it's essentially a headless compact Explorer Destroyer that still has an obsolete pointy headstock that's only really there for the string locks. Designed to appeal to both New Wave and Metal fans, this GTX 55 wears a blackout

Loaded with the Jackson HSS pickup configuration and a Charvel FLC branded licensed Floyd Rose locking tremolo system

tailpiece and Yamaha stamped tuners

The neck arrived to us with a slight crack near the nut screws as pictured

These were mail-order guitars from Japan in the 1970's and 1980's that were made by the Kiso Suzuki Violin Company

Good vintage condition as pictured with some light signs of wear as pictured

Made in Japan by Yamaha in the mid 1990's

setup and service prior to listing

which was common with TL52 models as they regularly have the serial on the ashtray bridge (that wasn't used on the Keith models)
