1920s Grandfather's Putty Tin The Allentown Paint Manufacturing Co. Allentown, PAThis is a rare vintage find from Allentown, Pennsylvania. A 1920's Grandfather's Putty tin that is in fantastic condition. It has a soft green and black litho design. The piece is in good condition, but does have some slight signs of age that can be viewed in our high resolution photos. No dents or serious damage to note. The tin measures 3 inches in height by 2 3 4 inches in diameter. It originally contained 1 pound of putty. No product remains.

It has a bar style clasp and opens to a large clear glass mirror that casts a good reflection

It also has a pretty raised repousse design around the edges of the compact

There's no serious damage to this historic collectible piece

What a terrific piece to use

that is also in wonderful condition

the only issue we found was some enamel loss to the comb handle and a small spot on the handheld compact mirror

just some light scuffs and one tiny pin point ding on the back near the edge

It comes in a white organza draw string gift pouch

A beautiful 1920's Nippon powder jar or box and hair receiver vanity set in fabulous condition
