They fought in many actions around New York, Philadelphia, Charleston and Virginia until the surrender at Yorktown. Part of this famed unit consisted of a troop of Hussars dressed in the Corps uniform of green and sported tall caps ornamented with the crescent device, which was the emblem of the Rangers.
