昭和23年 鳥取市に生まれる。

出雲の木工と言えば森山ロクロ工作所。出西窯や森山窯など島根の民藝の窯元で使われています。茶托やお椀、皿立てや盆などを製作。島根県産の良質なケヤキや黒柿などの木材を使って、原木の段階からしっかりと自然乾燥。その後、木目を活かした木地を作り、天然のうるしを何度も塗りこんでは拭いていく「拭き漆」で仕上げていきます。また、うるしを施さない「無垢」仕上げの器も制作。幅広い木工品を木地づくりから拭き漆までの工程を行っています。ロクロを回して一つひとつ丁寧に木工製品を制作しています。
