1993 Mandarin Chair by Ettore Sottsass for Knoll in Steel and Fabric 8x AvailableThis is a set of eight Mandarin Chairs, designed by Ettore Sottsass and produced by Knoll in 1986. The listed price includes one chair, and we have eight available for purchase in this colorway. These examples show the production date of 1993. They have sculptural, black enameled steel arms, and have an upholstered seat & back in a geometric patterned fabric. Its all about the arms on these chairs unmistakably Sottsass. Each chair measures 21 inches
They have a seat height of 16 inches
This is a Cyclone side table

Production of this line started on 2006 and was meant to provide a "room within a room
Condition overall is excellent for an example of this vintage
Its top is made of Oak veneer with a Cathedral grain over medium density fiberboard
the tulip tables were not introduced until 1957
designed by Thomas Moser in the USA
and a shell in veneered plywood
lest for a few small spots here and there
The table is overall in very good to excellent vintage condition
Gomez started out as an opera singer before becoming a prolific designer in several fields
