It has a brass exterior with copper trim, and is decorated with an gorgeous clasp and hinge and etched design. The interior has a lovely deep purple velvet lining that is in good condition. It has copper bands on both the top and bottom of the opening, and has a beautiful brass cast metal clap and hinge that work well. The purse measures approximately 4
