Colmont Opera Glasses 1800s Paris Mother Of Pearl & Abalone Binoculars Theater GlassesThis is a gorgeous antique pair of Colmont & Geivroz Paris abalone and mother of pearl opera or theater glasses. A fabulous pair of binoculars from the late 1800's. The glasses are in excellent condition, with no damage to the mother of pearl. They also have the mother of pearl on the shaft extensions, as well as mother of pearl around the eye pieces. The only issue we can find is some wear to the black enamel around the top edge of each lens, and

that is very hard to find

It's a gold tone compact that has a lovely aged patina

the Al Green Tribute in 2005

They show some slight tarnish

It measures approximately 3 inches by 2 1/2 inches and is about 3/8th's inches in thickness

The clasp and hinge are aligned and in perfect working condition

The outside is in mint condition
